    Hi,

I’m new to this support forum thing, so hopefully someone can help me with my problem.

It seems like a simple thing, I’ve only recently started to edit on vegas (+/- 8 months) and there’s something which I haven’t been able to figure out; as far as I can see, vegas won’t let you import entire folders of media (e.g. a folder of images) by the “drag-and-drop” method. It comes up with an error message saying:

“None of the files drop on Vegas Pro could be opened.”

Is there a way to import by “drag-and-drop” method or am I hoping for too much? Alternatively is there another way to import entire folders into vegas with the folder names being retained?

[Karl Reith] “Is there a way to import by “drag-and-drop” method or am I hoping for too much?”

You would have to select all the files in the folder (Ctrl+A) and drag and drop all of the files.

Not natively, but we (VASST) make a plug-in called Ultimate S Pro that has the ability to import and entire folder structure into the Vegas Pro media bins, creating bin names for each folder and placing the media in the appropriate bins. There is a 15-day free trial to see if you like it.

BTW, why is your subject: “Printing to Tape via ADVC 100 Problem”?
