    Hello
Me and a friend has made an ”music video” with my gopro hd and done alot of editing in Vegas platinum 9. When we finaly were ready to render Vegas just dont want to.
Sometimes it will render to maybe 8% and then just stay there, the estimated time goes down but the % are still the same. and I’l have to force the program to quit. Other times vegas just diasepere wihtout any warning. and sometimes I get a screen that tells me something is wrong.
My goal is to render it in atleast 720p. But usually when I try that it just gets 0%
I have been able to render the whole movie one time, but that was in 100Kpbs video .wmv. Also I tryed a little higer quality and just render som small parts of the video and then it works sometimes. But its still not good enough quality to use.
I see thet the problem been posted here before. And for one guy it helpd to just helpd to remove unecesery audio and video tracks. I have tryed this and hav now only 2 video tracks and one audio. I have also tryed to open the project in Vegas platinum 10 HD and there it just freeze as soon as I press render.

When I just play preview it works fine in both Platinum 9 and 10.

My computer are handling it fine. Only 30-40% memory usage and 50-60% CPU. And I have never had any problems before on other projects. This project has alot more of fading and opacity then previouse projects, but no FX.

Hope some one has any idea to what i can try. Thanks!

Render the project in small junks to AVI. Once the project rendering is complete, aka ‘all-junks = entire project’, render the pieces to whatever production format your aiming for. I usually name this project FinalRender.

Use markers to do this and in and out to set loops. When rendering select render looped region only.

Just because you can doesn’t mean you should.
