  Audio Cut During importing long interviews

  Greetings!

  Has anyone ever experienced the audio of their video cutting out after importing it from the camera? It happens to me all the time when I do interviews/ documentaries.

  I have not experienced this. What kind of camera? How are you importing?

  I have a Sony HDR-FX7. And I’m importing my videos through a firewire and the normal way we import videos to vegas.

  Would that happen to be File | Capture Video… | HDV or SDI? Because that should be a straight bit-for-bit copy of what’s on the tape.
