Sorry to ask such basic questions here, but going through the help file is proving to be not all that helpful.

I found the keyboard shortcuts section then searched the entire thing on the word `move’… I didn’t find what I was looking for, but may have missed after 5-10 minutes… of stepping through them.

How should I have found this information in the helpfile? Is there some better way to find stuff in there…

“Event selection and editing” is the section you’re looking for.

Thanks for the hefty clue… One thing, are there modifier keys that will cause the motion to multiply times 5 or 10. Something like holding shift or another key while pressing the appropriate numeric keys?

The usual candidates, Ctrl or ALT seem to just turn off any motion from numeric pad.

you can move the time indicator by hitting ‘Ctrl + right arror / left arrow and press ‘Left Bracket’, if thats what you’re looking for.

    Thanks

    Not that I’m aware of.
The numeric 1 and 3 keys will move an event 1 frame at a time only.
They numeric 4 and 6 keys will move an event various distances depending on far you’re zoomed in or out.

No, Mike nailed what I was after on his first response… I was looking to nudge that actual clip

but thanks for that input too… also appears quite useful. And another thing I’d wondered about.
