Zaxcom NAB Preview – Zaxcom’s ZaxConvert Software is Now More Versatile & 10x Faster
Zaxcom is excited to announce a software update for ZaxConvert, a user-friendly utility that converts Zaxcom’s lossless, fault-tolerant file format, MARF (Mobile Audio Recording Format), into Broadcast WAV or MP3 files.
A future release of ZaxConvert will support a new multi-threaded version for both PC and MAC operating systems. This update will enable users to convert and store data from up to 30 media simultaneously, simplifying the storage and transfer of audio for larger shows.
Furthermore, as Zaxcom’s Digital Recording Wireless transmitters use removable microSD memory cards, recordings can be transferred without taking the transmitter out of service to transfer the data, a critical feature for reality programs that require continuous recording. The latest version of ZaxConvert will also store transmitter audio data 10 times faster than the previous version. Look for the updated ZaxConvert software come May 2024.
