RX 11 Spectral Editor ARA is now integrated into Pro Tools and available in Studio One

The new RX 11 just got even better. The brand-new, free 11.1 update to the definitive audio repair toolkit delivers expanded DAW support for Spectral Editor ARA.

Since the first version of RX Spectral Editor ARA was released in RX 9, additional host support has been long-awaited.  Now you’ll be able to spot and clean unwanted noises, clicks, and hums directly within Avid Pro Tools and PreSonus Studio One, in addition to the already-supported Apple Logic Pro (in Rosetta mode). Building on the repair processing included initially, RX 11’s Spectral Editor introduces new processors like Gain, De-click, and De-hum. 

Plus, Spectral Editor ARA now comes fully integrated into Pro Tools, so you’ll be able remove background noise from dialogue or music tracks without purchasing RX or shuttling audio back and forth between the RX audio editor and Pro Tools.

The integrated RX Spectral Editor is available to all Pro Tools Artist, Pro Tools Studio, and Pro Tools Ultimate customers on an active subscription or perpetual license with a current Upgrade plan. If you’re new to Pro Tools, you can try out the full features set—including the RX Spectral Editor—by downloading the free 30-day trial.

Additionally, Studio One is now compatible with a new VST3 ARA version of the RX 11 Spectral Editor plugin, and is hosted normally rather than integrated.
