Recreating Captain America: Civil War’s Title Sequence
Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War had one of the slickest title sequences ever, created by the brilliant folks at Sarofsky. In this video, we’ll rebuild that look entirely inside After Effects, using both the new Advanced 3D renderer and the Classic 3D trick for older versions.
We’ll cover:
- Spotlights and real shadows
- Concrete textures and 3D text
- Shatter effect for fake depth
- “Shadows only” setup for realistic lighting
- Bonus: adding cracks, debris, and atmosphere
