PRG Announces Next Broadcast & Cinema Gear Auction Featuring High‑End Cine Lenses
PRG ProShop will host its next specialty online gear auction from August 5–19, spotlighting professional broadcast and cinema cameras, lenses, tripods, monitors, and accessories. Bidding and catalog access are available via the official PRG Bidding Site.
As part of PRG’s ongoing commitment to maintaining a modern, high-performance fleet, these auctions provide a consistent opportunity for filmmakers, rental houses, and production professionals to access well-maintained gear at auction pricing. This event includes a full range of inventory—from workhorse broadcast cameras to studio accessories—but it’s the lineup of cinema lenses that may attract particular interest.
Select highlights include:
- Fujinon Cabrio 20–120mm T3.5 PL – A popular servo zoom lens favored in doc-style and field production
- Angenieux Optimo zooms – Including 15–40mm, 24–290mm, and 45–120mm PL-mount lenses, known for top-tier optical quality and cinematic consistency
- ARRI Zeiss Ultra Prime 14mm T1.9 – A sharp, lightweight wide-angle lens used across both feature film and commercial sets
The auction also features more than 80 professional camera bodies—such as the Canon C500 MKII, Panasonic VariCam LT, Sony FX9, and Grass Valley LDX 80—plus support gear, monitors, and accessories. All items are located in Chicago and available for inspection by appointment.
The catalog is online now, with bidding opening August 5 and closing starting at 10:30am CT on August 19. The sale is managed by ThreeSixty Asset Advisors.
