So no one thinks it’ll be a problem to convert 2 hours (4 clips) on MPEG Streamclip? I’ve only done very short files and that works just fine, but I’ve never tried such a long file before. I think the audio should be handled separately because I’m pretty sure that it’ll go out of sync as the clip is being converted if I do them together on MPEG Streamclip. If you have experience with these long files being converted let me know.

I had them send me a 5 second sample of the type of file to expect. Here are the properties:

Bit Rate: 6.14 Mbps

Video Tracks:
224 MPEG-2, 720 × 576, 4:3, 25 fps, 5.67 Mbps, upper field first

Audio Tracks:
192 MP2 stereo, 44.1 kHz, 192 kbps

Codecs: MPEG2 Muxed
