Areas of Expertise

I have a strong work ethic and especially enjoy pushing the limits of my abilities in animation and building production ready rigs. I've become accustomed to floating between 3D softwares and as such am proficient in both 3ds Max and Maya. I'm a self motivated worker who likes to dive in and get things figured out and pitch in where ever I'm needed. I'm a creative problem solver who loves learning new things.

Comments and Things Worth Noting

I graduated from The Art Institutes International Minnesota at the end of 2009. During school I started building my resume with a two week freelance gig with Make Visual and a three month internship at Oops Animation, both located in downtown Minneapolis. I character animated at both locations, using Max at one and Maya at the other, I also created a few character rigs in Maya during my time at Oops.

After graduating with honors I worked a couple of contract gigs in the twin cities, the most recent being at a company called Zivix. At Zivix I worked in many aspects of 3D design and environment creation, where I modeled, rigged, animated and implemented elements into a variety of levels for the PC game Jam Party.

I've worked hard to develop skills as a 3D generalist but my real interests lay in rigging and character animation where I intend to continue building my experiences in both as I continue through this industry. I'd like to one day settle in with a company where I utilize my skills for the production of short films, commercials, or game cinematics.
