… ‬Removed every last connected file of Compressor prescribed by the apple forum link‭. ‬Ran disc warrior‭.Checked to see if any more files turned up for trashing. Repaired disc permissions. ‬Reinstalled FCS‭ …. ‬and same problem‭! …Grrrrr!

‬Any last suggestions before I wipe the complete disc in sheer desparation‭ :‬S

Thanx John,

I gave ‘Compressor Repair’ a shot already … no help.

But the apple forum link suggested some more files that may not have been removed using FCS remover.

So I’ll update what happens. It definitely appears to be something that has not been properly trashed … since a complete reinstallation of OSX provides a fully working compressor again.
