I am also having a similar problem. I am using footage from 2 different cameras, a Canon 7D and a Sony EX3.

When I drag and drop the canon files into my timeline, i don’t have to render anything. But when I drag the Sony files into the timeline, the red render bar appears on top.

So would this mean that I have to convert the sony files into ProRes? And if so, can that be done through media manager?

Thanks steve. I have tried that. I’ve cleared all markers but it will not export the entire sequence

I tried exporting it as a self contained file, which only took 15 minutes when I used teh current settings(not sure what they are). However, only the first quarter of my project is correctly matched. In the last three quarters, the audio and video are completely mismatched, and a few frames are pixelated.

I tried to export using DV PAL 720 48kHz, but now it’s saying it will take 14hours to export!
    Does that sound right?

Which settings should I export in? I eventually want to put it on a DVD. Should I export in PAL?
There’s so many choices, I’m not sure which one to use!
