I’m mostly concerned with previous reports on screen fonts being too small to read on a UHD screen.
Anyway, the footage is 1080p AVCHD for short documantaries, mostly 5 min long, some 20 min and rarely 60 min.

No.
This happened to me after upgrading from TeanViewer version 9.0.4110 to version 10.x.
The TeamViewer support claimed it should not happen…
I restored version 9.0.4110 and the error no longer appeared.
I still use this same version.

Concerning “you’re trying to correct and grade a clip with less data to work with”, I would guess this general claim holds for many other effects, so I’m not sure how the lumetri color effect is different.

Well, the reason is I get other responses elsewhere, like in Apple’s formal support forum here:

That guy says that there IS re-compressing in the export process which involves a quality loss.

Thanks Jeff, still I’m looking for a more definite info, specifically if one does need tools like ClipWrap/EditReady for re-wraping or this can be done within FCPX.
