    Sorry to resurrect such an old post, but I’ve got a similar issue. The timecode Soundbite gives me when I do a search is not like time-of-day, from-the-camera timecode – it’s just like playhead position (29 minutes into the clip, for example) which means that it all starts at 00 for each clip. Not helpful for going back and forth with FCP. Am I missing something here? A setting to keep an eye on? Otherwise, it’s really aggravating to look for relative timecode when everything else is a little more absolute (if the makes sense).

  • No, if you remove clips or cards from your import queue in XDCAM Transfer, you are not deleting them. Naturally, there are two main ways you’ll be looking at media in XDCAMTransfer – either from the card itself or from the card’s contents as copied to a hard drive or disc image. Either way, removing the clips or cards just removes it from the queue or ejects the disc (or disc image). In that case, remounting will do the job.
