Can I use a matte to define foreground/background to get better results where I get warping around the edges of things? i.e. like TwixtorPro, but where the effect is applied to the whole frame NOT just the area inside / outside the matte? If so, can one of the experts kindly give a newby an idiot proof explanation of how to do it – I really mean idiot proof i,e. do I paint the matte using rotobrush the timewarp in a diff composition / layer etc? I can;t find any clear examples anywhere to describe this.

I agree with the other users, the documentation is dreadful!

Does the matte have to be in another composition or can it be painted onto the composition & then the timewarp effect added to it? Pls give an idiot proof step by step as I’m completely new to this & the person I spoke to in India didn’t even know what a ‘layer’ was!
