Tested it again, and I’m not sure if it was because I was tracking footage in the middle of a long clip (I cut down the source clip to its own MOV file to track) or the plugin I pasted into AE, but it works now. So, thanks.

When I paste the data, I can open it up to see that keyframes and whatever else have been pasted, but it doesn’t effect the video.
When I alternately do paste mocha shape, the mask is pasted, but the motion of it doesn’t come over, and instead of everything outside of the mask turning into an alpha layer, it’s just black covering up the rest of my comp.
I checked the plugins, and there seemed to be default shape plugins from the instillation, but I downloaded another one from Mocha’s site and installed, will test again.
