    sure, the video was shot on a p2 card.
    imported thru a FCP machine, creating the quicktime files using version 7.6.2
    then brought for editing and AE work to me.
    i’m on an avid media composer adrenaline v.2.something.
    therefore only have quicktime v. 7.2 and can not upgrade with this current version of media caopmoser.
    a upgrade to ver 3.something on the avid allows for an upgrade on QT to 7.6.2 thus allowing everything to run smooth.

    turns out, it is quicktime that needs to be updated.
    before i can update to 7.6 quicktime you must first update avid mediacomposer to v. 3 or later

    did you ever find out how to creat CC for the avid?
    i’m on an adrenaline media copmposer, and i hear rumors about using the meta data to do the CC, but i can’t figure it out and avid says you can’t do it.
