    Well thanks…
Yes of course I know that, I was just asking if anyone knew of any patches or perhaps some preferences I could set to make the Photoshop pen tool act like the Illustrator one. I find this to be a fairly large inconsistency. Any other suggestions?

    Hello,

Thanks for your reply! I have since dumped my AIPrefs file, thus reseting all my preferences. That seems to have worked! Awesome!

    Hi there,

I was having the exact problem, and Google searches turned up nothing for me too. I am using Illustrator CS2 and Cinema 4D 9. I have just tried to take Nick’s advice and export as Illustrator Legacy, and save as Illustrator 8… My CS2 does not offer any of these options, either as a ‘save as’ or an ‘export’… What’s the deal here? I really need to find out!

Thanks for all your help guys, I realize this must be a common problem, so I apologize if you’ve heard it before. I just realized that I forgot to mention that the images in question are all shots from a digital camera, and I am resizing them within the program. Could that have anything to do with my problem? Should I resize them all in Photoshop?

    Thanks again.
