its the DVCPro 720p30, 960×720. Either the video is sped up or the audio is slowed down

Nope, when i open up the .mov in quicktime the audio is still out of sync, and iv also tried to re-log the clips and its still out of sync

So i initiate log and transfer, then i add a card to the que (i just dumped the footage from the cards to my harddrive, so i dont .mov’s i have folders named Card_01, Card_02 ext., open that up it has a “Contents” folder and “LASTCLIP.TXT). All my clips show up and i can scrub thru them, play them and they play fine. Video audio syncs up.

When i have named a clip i add it to the que.

When the clip becomes an actual digital file the audio losses sync with the video.

So im really confused as to why it would lose sync like that and how do i fix it

I would like to thank all of you for your timely and honest answers. Its a slippery slope when dealing with footage like this, and the right thing to do isn’t always the one you’d like but it was worth a shot. Thanks again to everyone that posted.
