    Hi David,

Thank you for the feedback. Gosh, you’re right. It was right there in the middle of the first tab (general settings). I unchecked the box. Talk about being right in front of me the whole time. 🙂 Glad it was a simple process. Much Success.

    Best,

    Tim,

Thanks for you honesty. I am probably going to be with DV for a while and when I make the switch it will probably be to HDV. The Matrox card has been good up to this point. I wanted to be sure with the computer step up that I also didn’t need to step up the card, but your point make clear sense. If ain’t broke, why fix it.

    Best,

Thanks for the info. I am updated the computer and thought about updating the card as well. Someone recommended the AJA card, I don’t think they were a big fan of Matrox’s stuff. I just use DV…it sounds like the Matrox may be the better way to go…maybe the X2 would be an even better suit.

    Your thoughts?

    Thanks for your feedback Tim.

It takes forever to render out the project. Defeats the purpose of having the Matrox system.

Not having my luck. I am using Photoshop 7.0 if that makes a difference. Followed your directions to a tee, however I am not seeing that little T for the text feature.

    Jeff,

Thanks for the input. I will be sure to use those at the top of the list. I take it you are involved in production? What do you do?

    Thanks,

    Jeff,

Thanks for the input. I will look into the Gear Pro 7.0. What kind of burners/towers do you reccomend? (ie: Pioneer, Sony, Panasonic, etc)

    Thanks,

    Wes

    Jeff,

Thanks for the info. I use 4x, so burning at 1x makes sense to insure playback. What is a good method on dubbing a larger amount of DVDs? Say under a 100. Are those towers good to dub multiple copies? And if so, is 1x the best burn speed to dub on them. I don’t want to wait around for 100 DVDs on a 90 minute video burning at 1x.

    Thanks,

    Wes

I am not having pixelation problems with the video itself. The video looks good. It’s the video that freezes and breaks up when playing back in some of the DVD players. I am using TY from a local distributor, not a retail store. The are an authorized dealer and actually sell a wide array of media to the local news stations and agencies in town.

I am using a Pioneer A05 burner, burning at 4x.

    What is an DL disc?

    Thanks,
