is that the same as “Scale To Frame Size”? That seemed to correct the issue. But everytime I add a clip to the timeline I must repeat that command. Shouldn’t the default make the 2 identical unless I decide to make a change? That is why I thought perhaps I have somehow/where set a default inadvertently incorrectly. No?

The images are (were) 3600×2880 ppi. Resolution was set at 360 (Epson pro printers optimal res.).

I may have answered my own question however. I downsized a single image to 1080×1350 (1920×1080 would have altered the aspect ratio) to see if PP6 needed to see a the same (or very near) size as my default video setting… which is set for a P2 AVCHD 1920×1080 (1080/60p). Vid Cam is the Panasonic AG-AC90. and that permitted the full image to appear in the Program window correctly.

But this begs the question of size and resolution. If PP6 can be used for RED (4K) why the issue? My display is a 30″ running at its native 2560×1600.

Cured but do not know why. Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
