No, it hates AVI’s from my experience. I’ve downloaded a youtube video in AVI with a youtube to AVI converter and it didn’t work, But I did the exact same video but in MP4 and it worked.

thanks! after I posted the help thread I downloaded one of these called handbrake and it worked, so it must be just AVI files that Vegas hates, which I also figured out it was AVI but is there anyway to get it to import AVI’s? because it didn’t do this 3 months ago it was perfectly fine so. Thanks for your help though! If there is no other way handbrake is fine only takes 5 minutes to convert so.
