Yeah, that’s what I was thinking as well. It must be some kind of frame rate issue, despite the fact that I was being diligent about importing and exporting everything at 23.976.

Maybe it is a QT problem. When I get home tonight I’ll see what version of QT I have installed.

Incidentally, I have exported QT’s with a variety of codec and do get the same problem…

Yeah, sorry… I should have mentioned that. When I reimport the quicktimes right back into Premiere (without Combustion touching them at all) I get the same problem. The quicktimes that I just exported do not match up with the clips in the timeline. They’re all falling slightly behind… like the timing is off somehow…

yeah… I am having the same problem and it is driving me insane. I export some video clips from Premiere CS4 (ANY format), in Combustion I color correct and composite whatever effects I need, render out from Combustion (again in ANY format… Quicktime, JPEG sequence, AVI.. ANYTHING) and when I import it back into Premiere it’s about one fifth shorter on the timeline. The frame rate is 23.97 coming and going… and yet the frame rate is waaaay off when I import it back into Premiere.

    Any idea what’s happening here?

  • How can I get the bitrate button to stop graying out? The only presets I have are NTSC DV and PAL DV… there are no other presets and I don’t have the option of using no preset.

Please help me figure this out…
