Lol, I made an account right now just so I can answer your post. I know it’s been almost a year since you posted that but I just wanted to say my solution.

I had a similar problem where I filmed my footage in 29.97 but accidentally edited the whole thing in a 24p sequence.

I just opened a new file, created a new sequence with 29.97fps, imported the old file, and dragged the old sequence into the new timeline. It worked like a charm!

Don’t copy and paste all of the cuts and stuff within the sequence to the other sequence… just drag the whole sequence into a new blank sequence.
