I have the same problem. Moreover, in FCP I cannot apply the SmoothCam filter. For that I have to export and import them as QuickTime files. Baffling.

I work in PAL, and when I need QuickTime movies to display in 16:9, I do as Don Greening said above, and change the pixel ratio to 1024 x 576.

I did google “quicktime aperture” and only found some baffling stuff for developers working in Leopard….

I really do not get what this is about. Anyway, I’m still on Tiger, so I guess it’s not for me yet.

Before going back to FCP, you have to go to Process/Render to Action in ST and Save.

Well, we want to tread carefully since this is a film project involving 24 fps to 25 fps (we’re PAL) back and forth.

Of these many ways, what would you recommend? I’m only aware of BWF2XML, XML Pro and Sebsky Tools.
