Beachballing= the colorwheel that happens when the mac is proccessing.

Thank you. I have disconnected the WD drive and the Issue continues. Then I would just connect the WD drive and same result. I have tried not daisy chaining them and it still beachballs. I have used the disk utilities to check the rights on the drives and everything checks out. Am I maximizing the port on the FW?
