Thanks John! I checked the video settings in the nvdia chipset graphics card and voila, that was my problem. All the video was dark because of the settings in the graphics driver. It was kinda weird how it only affected media players(VLC,Windows Media player, & Nero Showtime)& not Vegas. HUH? So, I re-rendered the project to main concept mpeg-2 and everything looks great! thanks for the insight and advise! – Vic
