    Hi,

I’m working right now on a feature-length DVC PRO HD documentary on a three-year old G5 1,8 single processor and the editing works perfectly fine. I installed a SCSI-card and a 1,5 TB RAID in order to store the files. I did some viewing on Firewire 800 disks as well which also worked, after all, with DVC PRO HD you only have a data rate of 100 MB/s.
    Best regards,

    Volker

    Hi rap,

working a lot on international projects I can greatly support John’s suggestion of using Graeme Nattress’ “G converter”, it does a pretty good job in converting PAL to NTSC. Other than that you have to find a company that does the job for you as a hardware conversion.

    Best,
