    Yup, I’ve got AE 9.0.3, and already have my system properly configured as you suggested. And footage has been converted.

    Thanks anyway, I just precomped some things, and once my layer count was down from 80, the keyframes began working properly. Weird!

    Same problem! On the 80th layer I introduced to the comp, the keyframes are unselectable. Live update is off. Prefs are trashed. Is there a solution or is this a known bug?

    I’m not using any CC effects, and I’m rendering uncompressed. I’ll try the adjustment layer! The only solution I’ve found so far is to render once with motion blur, and then again without motion blur, and cutting the two together to eliminate the problem areas. It’s just very time consuming!

    It’s a pretty straight up mpeg4 – mov conversion to create usable files in FCP. The codec is Apple ProRes 422 for Progressive with Chroma filtering enabled. The footage itself is 720p at 60 fps.
