I was use to shoot 1920×1080 24fps for everything I did. I didn’t install any software.
Then I started working on a tv project and set the camera to shoot 1920×1080 60i fps or 1920×1080 30fps. I was able to log and transfer 60ifps or 30fps clips, and then suddenly it stop working.

I have been looking the forum but could not find help about the problem I need to solve.
I hope you can help me, please.

I am using a Mac Pro 1.1 / thinking about changing the graphic card in order to upgrad it to a newer OS version.

I was use to work with “log and transfer” in FCP 7, from an 32GB sd card I use with a nex-fs700, since I got the camera, I lunch FCP 7, click log and transfer and the clips appears on the log and transfer window. That was all I did in order to get the clips transcode so I could start editing.

Last week I was already done filming some clips, wen to my editing station click log and transfer but nothing happened, the clips did not appear on the log and transfer window. Suddenly it stops working, and I have no idea why.

I was reading about some people who says that it will work again after a few days, but in my case nothing has work for about 5 days, and still not working.
I did not change anything about fcp 7 before that, I just didi what I was use to, insert the sd card into a card reader, lunch FCP 7, click on LOG AND TRANSFER wait a couple of seconds to see the clips shown on the log and transfer window, but this time the clips will never appear on the window.

I can transcode the clips using adobe media encoder, but I do not know why, I got the clips with no sound, even though the clips have sound, I checked them on my camera. the adobe media encoder version 5, tells me there is no sound.
And I rather use the log and transfer option which I think it`s way better.

I have installed all the sony plugins in order to transfer the clips.

Any help would be appreciate it!
