We work at a privately owned motion picture studio. We retired our two 900’s this past month and have just received two new 900-Rs. We have spent the morning baffled by this same problem (assigning the turbo to record and the assignable 1 to lens return) and finding that we are unable to activate the return. We are using cine lenses so don’t have the ability to test the return switch on an ‘ENG’ style lens. Just got off the phone with Sony technical help and they were unable to help rectify the problem. They seemed concerned that we might not have the correct software install. Said they would get back with us on this issue.
