Hello Raymond and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
Provided the two track audio isn’t stereo or split track, you can ignore or turn down one channel of it.
If Premiere allows it, you can also just delete the second track.
That won’t necessarily improve your chances of “blending” the audio, but it’ll make the tracks easier to deal with.
There’s an art and craft to movie sound that doesn’t have anything to do with track count. Crossfades are your friends. In addition, you may (or may not) want the audio from the next scene to start early to pull you into the scene change.

[Ralph Hajik] “I’ll be teaching a class of 25 students. I’ll be working off of a slide presentation using a PC and the room has its own speaker hook up. I presently have a Sennheiser ew 100 G2 wireless mic. So, can I plug the transmitter directly into the mic input of the PC and get good results?
If the Sennheiser ew 100 G2 wireless mic isn’t what you recommend, then what would you use?

I’m not sure what you intend to do. If you could (physical connections allowing) plug your transmitter into the mic input of the, that really wouldn’t work because both are inputs.
Perhaps you could clarify what you want to have happen.

Happy to help. You might want to check to see if there’s another display. If have seen some where the onscreen meters don’t show numbers, but the meters on the side of the camera did.

I thought STPro had a “meters” panel with marked levels.
I do think Soundtrack Pro is in need of a redo so that professional audio people can use it more easily.
It seems to have been created by computer people with little or no pro audio training.

Prolly cause the bundles are older.
iZotope’s RX is relatively new. Their hardware box is pretty happening if you want realtime NR.
Soundtrack Pro also has some significant NR stuff but you have to hunt for it.

[Randy Wheeler] “When I tell some experienced video deposition pros about this mixer and its features they seem to think that a “pro” don’t use “automatic” mixers and they are proud that they “manually” adjust the mics during their shoots. Some don’t even use a mixer with a limiter by saying they use their camera’s limiter. How would you convince them otherwise on this?
>>>I wouldn’t try. An auto mixer with a good limiter is the right choice for this job. Do they OWN an auto mixer? Probably not and probably because they don’t want to spend the money. Camera limiters? There is no crying in baseball and no limiters in cameras (worthwhile ones anyway).
I also really like the limiter on the FP410 and has helped to equal out the levels of each person speaking. Using the +8dB settings seems to work best for sending a clean “loud enough” signal to my camera. Nice to never have to worry about an overloaded sginal when using multiple lav mics at a deposition.
My waveforms look much better now also when compared to using the other mixers i have, especially the Mackie without the limiter even when using my camera’s limter.
