I was informed that maybe my computer monitor was playing tricks on me. Someone said you can’t trust what FCP looks like in a computer monitor. I took the video into the control room and looked on our video monitors and it looked fantastic. Thanks again.
Dave, you’re batting 1.000 with me (you’ve been my savior twice before). I’m a total newbie to FCP and yes, my computer monitor was playing tricks on me. I took the video into the control room and looked on our video monitors and it looked fantastic.
Thanks again.
You know… anytime I make a project in AE that is completely graphics based, it looks great, but anytime I use footage I’ve shot, the outcome looks like crap once I transfer it to FCP. I need to read up on exporting files.
No. It’s all rendered. It didn’t used to do this. I have the footage at ‘centered’ y, -40 and a few frames later moving to y, -38 and it blurs up in the middle at -39… annoying.
I put the Out Y connector on the monitor and got a signal, so I assumed the card was working properly, so I again switched Beta machines and this time everything works perfect. Thank you for your help and responses. It’s people like you that make the COW the best resource on the web. Thanks again.
Thank you for the response. I went through the switches check. I can see tapes I play on the Beta in the monitor and I can export from the Beta to the Kona no problem, but I can’t see anything I send from the AJA.
