Ditto – I just picked up the excellent new Pro Emitters. I’m looking forward to making some great AE comps with them!
Take a well deserved break Alan ! >8o)

Here’s a little gem of a program that I use regularly:
Of special interest is the Video Convertor utility as part of the suite:
Convert between all video formats: AVI (DivX, XviD, etc.), DV AVI, MP4 (inc. Sony PSP and Apple iPod), WMV, 3GP, 3G2, QuickTime (MOV, QT), SWF, DVD, VOB, VRO, MPEG 1,2,4, MPG, DAT, VCD, SVCD, ASF, MJPEG, H.263, H.264, Real Video (RM, RMVB), DVR-MS.
Any use?
Kind regards

Hi Aharon
Thanks! In fact it was your tutorial that got me started on exactly this line of thinking! >8o)
This these were my first attempts incorporating PI3 & V5I:
PI3 Rain Effects with Vue 5 Infinite
&
PI3 Smoke Filter Lense in Vue5 Infinite
I’ve found some nice footprint and animal track images off the internet, but please feel free to make another great tutorial…
( No pressure lol! >9op )
Kind regards

Excellent – and especially for more Dandelion emitters than I could have hoped!

Blimey – that’s excellent – Many thanks again MrBill! >8oD

Thanks MrBill – that’s a very useful resource to search Emitter keywords on.
I haven’t found a Dandelion type emitter yet – maybe one for a Sept or later monthly emitter suggestion? >8o)

I went the PNG route in the end, not sure if it was a codec issue, but have also d/l HuffyUV 2.2.0 which I may try in as a future alternative…
Here’s my first attempts to use PI3 with a DV Cam (no sound FX yet):-

https://trelawneyhope.co.uk/Halo.htmlThe Blockers are a little rough in places, but i’ve also just bought a green-screen to experiment with in the coming weeks. Just having lots of fun with PI3.
Thanks for your assistance Alan, and credit also to Aharon Rabinowitz, Elvis Deane and Andrew Kramer for the great tutorials – Cheers guys! >8o)

Thanks again Alan – I am following your advice on creating the SuperEmitters in a pre-composition, and it’s coming along nicely.
Thanks and credit to Aharon’s well timed CreativeCow tutorial on using AE7 Tracking info in PI3 too! (Hopefully PI will be able to natively import AE7 data in a future update?)
A question about blockers please – I have a fixed shape (head and shoulders) that ‘grow’ as they move diagonally across the screen and toward the camera.
I know I can centre drag and also rotate a blocker to animate it, but is there also a simple way to scale it too (I can’t seem to find one)?
Thanks in advance
