Thanks for the reply, Theo! Alas, that’s not a practical workaround for me, because I work with many subtitles, and to do that on each one is inconvenient — I need to see how the full-size text will fit on the preview monitor.

Hi again, anyone know a way to do this? Very strange if it’s not possible, seems to be a significant UI omission.
