    Just a quick tip: Scenalyzer is a small shareware program designed for scanning and indexing tapes, and it can do background capture as well. It has a buffer and is surprisingly robust when it comes to interruptions in the dataflow.
    I also find it brilliant for capturing stills from you footage instead of the tedious process of selecting “File -> export -> export to frame -> type filename -> press save”. In scenalyzer you just press F2. Scenalyzer then exports that frame with names with auto increments. (file format, naming, etc are set in the preferences)

    Thank you very much! It worked like a charm 🙂

    A very big thank you from both myself and my client/friend. (I am helping them out for free and I was NOT looking forward to spend hours upon hours of extra work because of this)
