Problem solved! Thanx Aiden, it was the third-party QuickTime component ZyGoTimeCode.component that caused the problem.

Thanks very much for your help, I’ve been struggling for days and it makes me quite desperate.
A colleague already worked with the same files and had no problem at all.
I hope one day the sun will shine again. Let’s hope someone has the answer. -
That’s right Don, the error occurs when I press ‘import’.
If I use the ‘File -> Log and Transfer’ than Final Cut Pro quits.
