THE PROBLEM IS NOW SOLVED!!!
After a S**T load of troubleshooting, i have solved this problem.
As a first step i figured i needed to test Sony Vegas on a clean system, i had a feeling some registry file for SV was causing this, so i installed Win7 on a new harddisk, installed the GFX drivers and then SV and the problem still persisted! So i gathered it must be a hardware problem.The last test i decided to do is uninstall the GFX drivers and BAM! The problem was gone! Bloody AMD has released the latest drivers not long ago making my SV unstable. So then i decided to install the GFX driver components one by one and found that the component causing the problem was an SDK runtime thing, which i have left out and all is good now!
Just wanted to let you all know just incase one day someone has this problem.

I also just noticed that the timeline doesn’t run that well either, gets a bit distorted a “laggish” :/ Could it be something has gone wrong Hard-Ware wise?

I used to have build 307 if i’m not mistaken. But that had the problem too. Keep in mind that all of this has started out of nowhere, the build updates were done after the problem started to see if i could solve it.
When i uninstalled Vegas to trouble-shoot the problem, i also tried several builds. As i remember, i used to also have SVPro10 32 bit and 64 bit installed at the same time as my SVPro11, after this problem started, those old versions wouldn’t even open anymore so i removed them. Quite a lot of weird stuff happening recently.
Just 10 minutes ago i tried another user account to see if the problem persisted on another profile but nothing, still the same thing.

The build i’m using for the 64bit version (i’ve removed the 32bit as it was only to test this issue) is: 701, which i think should be the latest (i’ve tried updating to solve the problem so i think it’s recent).
I’m not sure what you mean by your second question. By other media i meant other file formats, i usually work in .MOV because my camera records in that format, but i’ve tried .WMV, .MP4, .AVI but still problems. ALTHOUGH, everything works fine in the timeline, i mean i could just trim the files in the timeline but that’s not how i’m used to work and would be quite annoying. Also, if it helps, i always seem to see a green solid frame at the beginning of the videos, but goes away when i play them.
As for project settings, when i start a new project i always use the icon that fetches the settings from a source file so that they are exactly the same.
And for space, i have plenty, on my C: drive i have 499GB free space and 310GB free space on my D:.
