My disk utility says the HD is ok, and I’m using the same scratch disk I have for four years. I haven’t changed any settings. I will say, the only program that seems to be problematic is FCP, though.

Not sure how to reload the OS, but I’m willing to try anything… Like I said, I’m not all that computer savvy…
