  • RE: One of the things to go is color resolution: the picture you posted has one-fourth the color information as luminance (B&W) information

to fix the edges how can i go about that the best way?

Is there a better keyer for HDV out there?

Also i take it the workflow is this:

    colour correct green for overspill
create keys with keylight and create tight garbage mattes for diffeent body parts
do a track matte on new comp of garbage matte comp and real footage?

if i was to key out different parts of their body what is the most efficient way of putting all the layers together again can i just plonk mask layer upon mask layer.

  • thanks looked through the info it was very helpful. I need to just kill the spill i think first, what is the best tool in keylight just to make his tights not reflect so much green? tried the hue/saturation effect but it wasn’t good enough and i am using keylight, unless you know of a better keyer for HDV footage?
