PARALLEL LIFE – systems development

While fulfilling my activities at the family farm ranch, and with tons of time on my hands (try living alone on a ranch for some years and tell me how long a day actually lasts…), i have taken up a significant part of the time developing in-house IT solutions.

With the advent of smartphones and a wider mobile data coverage in rural areas, i could finally unite two critical tools for my agricultural needs: GPS and IT.

I am a lifelong fan of GPS, having bought my first unit back in 95. But it was always a standalone technology whose data had to be manually imported – UNTIL SMARTPHONES PUT EVERYTHING IN THE SAME BOX!

After writing a complete geobased inspection system for AG, in 2011 i opened a mobile app company, Java Bungalow.

– Personal / fleet tracking

– Geobased paperless onsite inspection / sales systems

– Integrated web tracking platform (including vehicle trackers, smartphones, RFID)
