    Hello Davide,

I believe Illustrator automatically embeds fonts when you export a file to PDF.

You can change the amount of subsetting (i.e. only embedding the used characters in your document, and leaving out all the characters that aren’t used) but Illustrator will not convert your text to outlines automatically.

    Hoep this helps,
    Tom

    Hi Bob,

did you check your “Document Raster Effects Settings” under the Effect menu?
You can set the resolution of your effects to a higher quality – that should do the trick ☺

    Cheers,

    Hi Ahmed,

Is it just this project, or do all projects render slowly ?

I think it mostly depends on the source material you are using. (i.e. when you use PNG with high compression rates in your projects, the rendering is a lot slower then when you use PNG files with no compression at all)

Honestly, 27 spot colors is a lot. Personally I’ve never used more than 5 on top of the CMYK colors.

Maybe you should consider converting your work to CMYK and only keep some of the spot colors.

Or maybe created your artwork in RGB, while your printer can only manage CMYK ?
