Love our BMCC – wonder what frame rates it will be capable of when used at simple 1080p or 2k ProRes….

That said, I would fully expect to order and pay for it with a promise of July, and not receive it until early 2015…

waaaaaaaaaaait a minute. Is that MSRP just for the sensor, and then the rails, EVF, SSD and SSD dock, shoulder mount, microphones and rigging are all on top……..?

Any ballpark figures for how much the CION will be?

It looks very interesting, but I would imagine that it will be priced to compete with the Arri Amira, not the Blackmagic 4k…..

I really wish I could get to NAB!

Edit… I opened a small window from the link and missed the MSRP. That looks amazing, and something we will be investing in if the prices are consistent in the UK.

Render multiple frames simultaneously is enabled with 4GB per CPU.

And yes, I see the contradictory nature of posting render time results from Adobe software in an FCPX forum. It seems that this is now one of the most active ones on the Cow, and a good place to look at apple hardware as any.

Depends on spend, but we’ve got a focusrite 18i20 unit that sits underneath the display. It’s got loads of configurations for DAW channels in and out, jack and xlr connectivity and comes with scarlett mix which controls the output mix and input levels for recording. The unit can have presets saved which can quickly switch from stereo to 5.1 to 7.1 or anything in between.

It’s more for recording and then output mix for 5.1 with audition or logic, but its a great piece of kit.
