Hi Michael,

Thanks so much for your detailed instructions. I had totally missed the Global button being how to set these options. It now makes perfect sense. I’ve managed to produce exactly what I was after to pipe into some data management scripts. In the end tabbed lists were easier to deal with than the XML.

Creating an EDL with UNCPath in the comments would be perfect, for the Baselight, but this doesn’t look possible from Avid or Filmscribe at the moment. Do ou think that may be feasible in the future? Is this the feature which you think got lost in the Avid matrix?!

Hi Miachael,

Wow that’s a very powerful tool. Thanks for the suggestion, I will be sure to investigate it’s potential across many of my DI projects.

I’ve made a scan list with the ArriRAW data, by copying from the UNC coumn to the UNCPath column, which can be displayed nicely. The info looks great in preview as an HTML page, however I can’t save the XML. No option, Save As in Filmscrive is greyed out, even after being Previewed. Could this be because my media is offline (they are cutting in LA, I am in London)? Or am I missing a trick? So close!
