    Is this you, my friend from Paris? If so, what happened, and how do I get in touch with you again? Are you still living on Rue Stanislas or near Atget’s apartment house?

    I REALLY want to know about you. Once we reach a certain age, it’s difficult to give up those few people we feel close to.
