    Apparently there is more than one way to de-interlace a cat..

    Since the majority of the footage was shot 720p at 29.97, I will edit my HD show at that rate, output via AJA IO to create the letterboxed SD version, then output the HD version at 59.94.

    So, frame rate isn’t an issue either way? I know we’re doubling or halving it.

    Thanks for the quick response. I will opt for a hard wire connection to the boom mic and minimize the chance of break up. I was hoping for more cameraman freedom, but it isn’t worth the risk. I think I will look into the Sound Devices MixPre 2 channel instead of the 302 and save some money.

    I appreciate the insight.
