The main factor that matters is this: What disk can be accessed and written to fastest? That is almost always your internal disk. Get an SSD if at all possible.

Also, never put the disk cache on the same mechanical drive as your source media. You don’t want to deal with the latency (either because of seek time or bus speed) of having your disk cache reads and writes competing with reads of your source media.

Then don’t use the Subspace Warp option for Method. Use the Perspective option or the Position, Scale And Rotation option.

Even if they want Flash video, FLV almost never makes sense. F4V is much, much, much better. F4V is the more modern version that can use a better codec (H.264) instead of old and crusty codec in FLV (On2 VP6).

Why are you using FLV output? There is almost never a good reason to use FLV these days. (Only of you need an alpha channel in a Flash video asset should you use FLV.)

How are these videos being used, exactly? Are they being played directly in Flash Player? Are they being imported into another application?

If a vector is in the coordinate space of a layer, but the layer is moved (say, rotated), then the vector is pointing in a different direction in the coordinate space of the composition. This method converts between those two coordinate spaces.
