> “So Im assuming No for Ray-tracing Yey for Open GL?”
That sentence shows a couple of misunderstandings.
First, the GPU acceleration of the ray-traced 3D renderer in After Effects has nothing at all to do with OpenGL. It depends on CUDA. OpenGL and CUDA are two extremely different GPU technologies, for very different things.
Second, the absence of a card on our list of tested and supported cards means just that: the card isn’t tested and supported.
Read these two pages carefully:
https://blogs.adobe.com/aftereffects/2012/05/gpu-cuda-opengl-features-in-after-effects-cs6.html
There’s also an explicit answer there to your question about multiple GPUs. (summary: yes)

November 28, 2013 at 3:52 am in reply to: W3C Javascript style reference for After Effects? After Effects Help is complete in terms of the extensions to JavaScript that are specific to After Effects. So, the After Effects Help expression language reference section plus a JavaScript reference will give you the whole picture.

In my answer to your duplicate post (here: https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1344980), I gave the context for why John’s suggestion works:
“A mask path’s coordinates are relative to the layer that they’re on. A layer’s position coordinates are relative to the composition that the layer is in.”
By working with a composition-sized layer as John suggests, you are working with a layer coordinate space that has the same origin as the composition coordinate space.

Launching multiple instances of the After Effects aerender application on one computer in that way has never been a tested or supported workflow. If it worked, it was a happy accident.
