You can copy a motion path into a paint stroke, too, though you may want to roughen the edges of the paint stroke layer to get the look that you’re going for.

Be sure that you don’t have the audio files selected when you’re trying to import an image sequence. That appears to be your problem.

I’m not sure what you’re referring to. I’m not aware of us bundling any 3D rigs with After Effects CS6. Please tell me exactly what steps you’re taking so that I can have a better idea what you’re talking about.
