I’ll check about the white vs. superwhite, hadn’t thought of that. Great suggestions on the track locations, thank you Michael, I’ll check it tomorrow when I get to the office!

I am rendering in Apple Pro Res 422. The AVCHD is coming from a Panasonic AG-HMC150P. I have tried a few different output types today, and the same thing is happening. Has anyone else seen this problem?

Low and behold, Apple has agreed to take this 8 core back for a new replacement unit. The customer relations folks at Apple have been terrific!!!!!!!!!!! After expressing the situation and circumstances surrounding this unit, I am pleased to report that they agree, and accept this return/replacement.

Thanks Apple for restoring my faith in your operations, (providing the replacement shows up this week).

I would start by emptying all caches,(library/caches, select all and send to trash). Empty trash. This usually will help kick start your apps. Once you are able to get your applications open, quit all apps, open disc utility and repair permissions on your system drive. This may all sound like old news, but it should help.
